Yosemite was supposed to be one of the highlights in my trip through the West Coast.
When I told my hosts I wanted to go there, they said…
OH, HELL YEAH!
That’s when I first heard of this guy:

I can already hear your thinking.
“What’s so impressive about a shirtless dude on top of a mountain? I could do that!”
Alright…
Could you do this, though?

It turns out Alex is so batshit crazy that they made a movie about him.
Why?
Well, because…
He casually climbed this 3,000 ft (914 m) rock cliff.
He did it, taking every precaution because he fears for his life, right?
Well… that’s probably what his mom and girlfriend wish he did.
Alex Honnold is not your typical wall climber.
Alex Honnold is a f*cking ROCKSTAR!
He laughs in the face of fear.
It took him years to map every inch of that mountain.
Decades to transform his body into a rock-climbing machine.
Some even say he’s a chimera:
Half human
Half mountain goat
Would you dare to climb a cliff like Alex did?
Making History
In 2017, Honnold was the first to climb El Capitan free solo (with no equipment).
His feat was so incredible that National Geographic made a film (Free Solo) to tell his story.
Robert E. Redding wrote a book about him:

He even went to Joe Rogan (multiple times)
There is only one thing left for Alex to complete the game of life…

In my latest video, I talk about Alex’s story and Yosemite National Park, in California.
Was the 4-Hour drive from Reno worth it?
