Oh, there's so much to go on about Nuclear Power. It's actually much, MUCH safer than coal, for instance. There's been a lot of Propaganda against Nuclear due to only 3 accidents.
3 Mile Island ⇾ Wasn't even that much of a deal
Chernobyl ⇾ Was caused by a ton of human errors that could've easily been avoided (and would never happen again with the knowledge we now have)
Fukushima ⇾ Also didn't have that much a consequence Nuclear Wise. And, overall, was a total Freak Accident caused by a Natural Disaster.
Anyway, going into more technical aspects would require a full-blown article.
Money is a tool. The problem is when people mistake the tool for the "thing itself". It's an efficient means of trading value, not an end within itself.
